Accountant Auditor I/II, #2024-00095 ($30.00 - $44.83)
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. In this role, you will be involved with tasks related to property tax accounting, including roll corrections, refunds and apportionments. Must be comfortable meeting with taxpayers occasionally. Knowledge and experience with accounting and analysis are necessary. Experience in property taxes is desirable. However, in house training will be provided and some offsite training will be required.
Under general direction, performs a variety of professional accounting duties that involve the application of judgement and discretion in the analysis and application of accounting principles and practices in maintaining fiscal controls and records, preparing transactions, and initiating reports; and performs related duties as assigned.
