Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading the Utilities automation staff, directing work and assigning projects. In conjunction with IST staff, maintain the Local Area Network (LAN), server maintenance and backups, application development and PC applications, purchase and deploy hardware and software.
Provide oversight and management of the department's systems and technology projects. Performs related work as required.

- Purchase and deploy hardware and software.
- Perform oversight and management of the department's systems and technology projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration or a related field.
- Five years of experience in the implementation and support of business information systems to include two years of supervisory experience.
- Considerable knowledge of concepts of microcomputer technology and related software.
- Principles of office automation systems.
- Ability to analyze complex business problems for potential automation solutions.
- Manage complex automation projects.
- Document processes and procedures and develop user documentation.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Operate a personal computer and related software and other standard office equipment.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Supervise technical and non-technical staff.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- No more than six demerit points within the twenty-four months preceding the anticipated hire date.
