The Colusa County Department of Health and Human Services is the place for you! We are the largest department in the county, with over 80 staff members. Our agency works with Colusa County residents to administer social services programs, including CalWORKs, CalFresh, Medi-Cal, In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS), Adult and Children’s Services, Public Health, and Housing. What's this Job All About?
The Accounting Technician position is responsible for preparing and entering accounts payable into OpenGov for the entire agency, reviewing, reconciling, and submitting payroll for the agency, tracking expenditures paid for contracts, and providing backup for EBT card printing and other fiscal duties as needed.

Receives direct supervision from higher level supervisory or management staff.
Experience: Four years of progressively responsible clerical accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized course work in bookkeeping, accounting or a related field.
Salary : $43,788 - $71,868
