What are the responsibilities and job description for the Road Maintenace Worker I position at County of Colusa?
This recruitment will be used to fill four (1) vacant positions and establish an eligibility list to fill future openings without reposting.
What's this Job All About?
As part of a critical road maintenance team, you’ll help maintain roads across diverse areas—from the eastern, lower agricultural heartlands to the rolling hills of the western County. Your responsibilities will include patching roads, filling potholes, clearing debris, mowing, and managing road closures during inclement weather. You’ll also assist with major construction projects, help direct traffic around detours, and maintain large vehicles and machinery. This position provides the opportunity to be an integral part of the County's public works efforts while gaining hands-on experience in road maintenance.
