The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking one Supervising Advocate Victim-Witness Program.
Under direction, plans, coordinates and supervises the activities of staff responsible for providing advocate services to crime victims, witnesses and their families to cope with the financial and emotional problems encountered as a result of becoming a crime victim or witness; oversees staff responsible for providing assistance and social service referrals; does other related duties.
Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Requirements:
NOTE: Applicants must meet one of the following or a combination of both experience and education. Thirty (30) semester hour credits are equal to one (1) year of relevant experience.
Seven (7) years of professional experience providing advice and referral services to individuals or groups coping with social, emotional, psychological or other problems.
OR
Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and three (3) years of the above-mentioned professional experience.
OR
Possession of a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Guidance or related field; and two (2) years of the above-mentioned professional experience.
License: Appointees will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey.
