What You'll Do
Dakota County is seeking to fill a Senior Office Specialist position that will work in the Acquisitions & Cataloging unit located in the lower level of the Wescott Library. The person in this role will catalog all types of materials and formats to ensure prompt accessibility of materials to library customers, and clear, accurate, and inclusive discoverability of materials in the library catalog. The person in this role will also provide library acquisitions / selection services in a manner which will effectively and efficiently meet the needs of customers. The skills required of this position include : a high level of attention to detail, problem solving, customer service mindset, teamwork, and willingness to learn; performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Associate's Degree
- Two years of progressively responsible administrative or office work experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience to equal or exceed two years directly related to administrative or office work experience.
