Dakota County Road Foreman
Dakota County is taking applications for the position of Road Foreman. The purpose of the position is to supervise employees and operate equipment in the construction and maintenance of the county roads and bridges. Manage Road Department safety programs. Foreman/Safety Manager is a safety-sensitive position. Work with the Highway Superintendent to develop a long-range plan with adjacent local government units; develop an annual program for design, construction, and maintenance; implement the capital improvements and maintenance activities provided in the approved plans, programs and budgets. This position is understood to be as a working Foreman, not supervisory only. Dakota County is an EOE. This position is subject to a Veterans preference.
