About the Position
Responsible for maintaining, building and or replacing county signs as needed. Responsible for hand rostered wood signs, nameplates, street signs, mailboxes, street address post and fence posts. Works on county vehicles. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
Job Duties
- Responsible for Dare County signage, wood signs, street signs and etc.
- Repairs damages done by Dare County vehicles.
- Transports county voting equipment and securing it.
- Responsible for carpentry, concrete work, moving furniture, painting, maintenance and plumbing work.
- Performs other assigned duties.
