Summary
The Computer Forensic Analyst is a specially trained professional who works with law enforcement agencies, County, Federal and State, to retrieve information from computers and other types of data storage devices. Computer Forensic Analyst combine their science background with their forensic skills and work on cases involving offenses committed on the Internet (Cyber Crime).
Essential Duties
- Conducts analytical investigations on computer systems, network and internet computer Systems.
- Extract highly sensitive information without affecting the integrity of the data itself.
- Recovery of Evidence; flies are deleted, data is hidden or hard to locate, data is lost due to Software / hardware corruption drives or the device is physically damaged.
- Assist local law enforcement with retrieving information from computers.
- Ability to testify in Court to findings.
- Performs related work as required.
