This position is assigned to the AFSCME (Care Center) Council 31 Bargaining Unit.

- Performs a high volume of advanced bookkeeping tasks
- Maintains disbursement accounts for Support Services Department, including auditing invoices, preparing vouchers, posting and reconciling multiple line items
- Maintains accounts receivable and payable records
- Provides information to and interact with a variety of department supervisors
- Completes paperwork for department personnel changes
- Prepares expenditure and receipt report on a periodic basis including necessary recaps, summaries, and reconciliations
- Prepares revenue reports for the Department and the Treasurer's Office
- Maintains budget control logs for Support Services Department
- Assists with preparation and presentation of the annual operating budgets
- Monitors vendor contracts for proper prices, encumbrances and renewals
- Serves as a lead worker for clerical staff engaged in fiscal recordkeeping and related financial management activities
Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience:
- Completion of some college level coursework in Finance or Accounting
- Four(4) years of experience in Accounting and/or Fiscal Recordkeeping
A post-offer physical is required.
