Working Hours
This position follows a 12-hour shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on a 2-2-3-day rotation. This means you’ll work:
- Two consecutive days on
- Two consecutive days off
- Three consecutive days on
Essential Functions
What You’ll Do:
- Process individuals entering and exiting the facility, ensuring compliance with procedures and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform alcohol testing and identity verification tasks, including fingerprinting and database queries.
- Manage inmate property, inventory, and documentation with precision and accountability.
- Prepare reports and respond to public inquiries about incarcerated individuals professionally.
Typical Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Adaptability to Secure Environments: Ability to perform responsibilities effectively within a correctional center, including professional interactions with inmates as part of daily operations.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Detailed-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, maintain accurate records, and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines effectively.
