Essential Functions
What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
As Youth Running Club Coach, you will:
- Plan and lead age-appropriate running practices, including warm-ups, drills, training, and cool-downs.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Communicate with participants, parents/guardians, and the Program Supervisor regarding schedules, progress, and any concerns.
- Incorporate fun activities and games to keep kids engaged and excited about running.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and events by following safety guidelines.
Typical Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to support the Spring Season (10 weeks) twice a week for 1-hour program from April – June 2025.
- Able to keep young runners (approximately 25 participants) excited while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
