What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUMMER HELP - County Assessor's Office position at County of Goodhue?
Goodhue County is seeking applications from students enrolled in a post-secondary school who are looking for a 40 hour/ week seasonal job. Two positions are available this summer within the Goodhue County Assessor's Office (509 W. 5th Street, Red Wing, MN 55066).
Daily duties may include, but are not limited to: general clerical duties such as assisting with scanning projects, creating spreadsheets, data entry and analysis, filing and other special projects as assigned. Summer workers may also have the opportunity to work in the field with appraiser staff in measuring properties (outdoors) as well as reviewing construction blueprints and associated data entry.
Seasonal employees may work for up to 100 working days if under the age of 22 and enrolled in a nonprofit or public educational institution for fall semester 2025.
Compensation
Summer students are compensated at $15.50 per hour.
Schedule
Seasonal employees' schedule will be 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday beginning in mid-May through August. (Maximum of 100 working days.) Schedule is subject to change.
