Essential Duties
- Take photographs and /or video footage at Recreation & Parks sites, programs, and events on an as needed basis. Provide the Division with full rights to the files, editing them as necessary.
- May use personal equipment or County-issued. Photos/Videos will be provided to the Division in a high-quality format with basic edits, as needed. Henrico County will have full rights to use images in archival and publicity purposes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary.
- Completion of photography/videography classes/training. 1-3 years photography and/or videography experience.
- Working knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Premiere.
- This is an hourly/ temporary position affording up to 29 hours per week.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Applicants must provide samples of photography work.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a bachelor's degree in recreation or a field directly related to the needs of the assigned position, and one (1) year of related work experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
