Under general direction of the Board of Supervisors, plans, organizes, and controls the operations and activities of the Board of Supervisor’s Office acting as the clerk for the governing body of the County and other special assessment and taxing districts for which the Board acts.The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is a single position class with responsibility to prepare Board meeting agendas, record and maintain records of Board actions, and provides administrative support for Board members.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, or related field and three years of progressively responsible experience in administration in a governmental agency; OR two years of college coursework in the subject areas described and five years of progressively responsible administrative support experience. A Valid California Driver’s License.
