Clinical Psychologist

Role Summary: The County of Imperial is seeking a skilled Pyschiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric services to patients across various settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community members.

About the Position: As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, developing and implementing mental health programs, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be invaluable in advising on prevention strategies, research initiatives, and other mental health program activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care through comprehensive assessments and treatment plans
• Develop and implement mental health programs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Sufficient education and experience to become licensed as a practicing psychiatrist in California
• Valid State of California License as a physician and surgeon
• Evidence of completion of an approved residency program in psychiatry
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration Registration Certificate
• Valid California Driver's License
