BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, monitor assigned mental health clients and probate conservatorship clients to assure the delivery of psychiatric, medical, and conservatorship services and to assure proper linkage to social, economic and community resources. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician I incumbent will work in a training capacity under close supervision. Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician II is the experienced level classification in the series. Incumbents are assigned a large caseload and operate independently. Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician III is the advanced level classification in the series. Incumbents are assigned a highly specialized and more complex caseload and operate with a higher degree of independence.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Bachelors degree; or 30 college level semester units and two years of qualifying experience in the human services field. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver’s license.
