Job Description:
Serves as assistant foreman for Public Works Maintenance crew. Assists the crew supervisor with project supervision to direct work activities in a safe and productive manner. Performs skilled work in operative and maintaining motorized heavy equipment in the Transportation Division of Public Works. Operates heavy equipment such as trackhoes, bulldozers, motor graders, etc.
Additional Job Requirements:
Assists the SCDOT with maintaining the safety of all primary and secondary roadways in Lexington County during inclement weather. Is subject to be on-call during non-emergency situations.
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience; or and equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess valid CDL-A driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.20 per hour
