Starting Salary Commensurate with Experience:
- Assistant State's Attorney I - $72,250.22 to $79,502.28 annually
- Assistant State's Attorney II - $77,307.65 to $85,067.39 annually
- Assistant State's Attorney III - $82,719.27 to $91,022.10 annually

- Licensed attorneys with relevant legal experience

Position Highlights:
- Prosecute criminal, juvenile, traffic, and civil cases
- Work independently with strong support from leadership
- Engage in legal research, trial prep, and courtroom litigation
- Collaborate with law enforcement, court officials, and county departments
- Gain hands-on experience with a wide variety of cases
What You’ll Need:
- Law degree from an accredited institution
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and before the Illinois Supreme Court (or eligibility soon after graduation)
- Strong communication, research, and analytical skills
