Deputy Sheriff is responsible to perform all duties encumbered upon them in accordance with the law, under the mandate of the Sheriff, in accordance with the guidelines set forth by statute in and for the State of New Hampshire.

EDUCATION: High school diploma. Associate's degree preferred in law enforcement,criminal justice or related field.
EXPERIENCE; Five years of law enforcement experience required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: State of New Hampshire full time certification as a police officer prior to hire by this office. Valid New Hampshire driver's license .. Must pass an in-depth background check.
EXPECTED WORK HOURS: Generally Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm- must be available to work weekend details approximately every six weeks.
