The Merrimack County Department of Corrections serves the community and its criminal justice system by providing security, supervision, and assistance to persons remanded to our custody. Our policy is to meet or exceed the standards set by the American Correctional Association, the National Commission of Correctional Healthcare, the New Hampshire Association of Counties, and the Merrimack County Board of Commissioners.
To coordinate and conduct hearings and render decisions in accordance with Departmental policy and applicable laws relating to the inmate disciplinary process, working with staff, outside agencies and inmates on a daily basis.

Bachelor’s degree (preferred) from an accredited college or university with major course work in criminal justice, social science, education, or related field.
Five years in the Corrections Profession or Criminal Justice field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience, or any required knowledge, skills and abilities.
A drug screen & criminal background check will be required of all conditional hires.
Salary : $214 - $310
