General Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Shift Supervisor, performs a variety of functions related to the care and custody of detained youth. Serves as the designated person in charge (DPI) of the Youth Center during non-waking hours Ensures compliance with all Youth Center policies, procedures and state licensing requirements related to the referral, admission, and discharge of youth. Responsible for the maintenance of resident reports and records and audits such data to ensure accuracy.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in the field of Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or related Human Service field preferred.
In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a candidate must possess a minimum of two (2) years of college (equivalent 60 credit hours) in one of the above mentioned fields and one (1) year of work experience in a detention/treatment institutional setting.
