Vegetation Management Aide (Extra Help)
This recruitment is being conducted to fill several extra help vacancies assisting Napa County Fire with their Vegetation Management and Chipping Program. Extra help assignments are non-benefited and may be used for on-call needs up to 40 hours per week (up to 1,000 hours per fiscal year).
Vegetation Management Aide provides assistance to the Napa County Fire/Cal-Fire with their Vegetation
Management and Chipping Program during their Fuels Reduction Season. The Fuels Reduction season begins in April and could go through November, possibly into December.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Experience:
No experience required. Previous Park maintenance experience desirable.
Education:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Completion of college level coursework desirable.
License or Certificate*:
Possession of a valid CA Driver's License desirable.
Any license, certification, or registration required for this position shall be maintained (i.e. active and in good standing) at all times during employment with Napa County. For continued employment with Napa County, you must maintain such license, certification, or registration to meet the minimum qualifications of this position.
