What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Personnel Technician position at County of Passaic?
The Passaic County Department of Human Resources is looking for an additional team member to assist day to day. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phones and providing assistance to callers in a professional manner.
- Meeting and greeting visitors at the window, handling inquiries and redirecting as needed.
- Maintaining and updating confidential files and records.
- Helping with creation and maintenance of reports and transmittals for ADP and payroll processes.
- Assisting with time and attendance edits and quarterly reporting.
- Providing support to the Director and performing additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: BA or four (4) years of relevant experience.
Experience:
- 4 years of relevant experience. HR background is preferred.
- Computer savvy and versed in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle privileged, confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience with the NJ Civil Service Commission is a plus.
