Key responsibilities include supervising the design and preparation of plans and specifications for wastewater treatment plant and pumping station facilities, evaluating technical and economic needs for rehabilitation or expansion, and providing technical support for operations and maintenance activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Professional Engineer's license (PE) issued by the State of New York and two years of post-license engineering experience in the design and construction management of wastewater treatment plants, sewer lines, and related facilities.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and pre-employment medical examination.
Other Requirements and Information:
- Candidate must be a legal resident in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut.
- Civil Service examination requirements have been waived for this position.
