The County of San Diego has a current opening for the position of Senior Deputy County Counsel – Employment Law Advisory in the Office of County Counsel .The Office of County Counsel is a full-service law office, tasked with handling the County's employment law needs, including proactive participation in all phases of government decision making and a very active and successful trial litigation program.There is an immediate vacancy in the Office of County Counsel for an Employment Law Advisory attorney to provide advice and counseling to County Departments and to represent the County in Civil Service hearings. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker and able to accurately articulate the critical issues in resolving client issues. Additionally, the candidate will have excellent legal research and writing skills, and the ability to work in a supportive and professional team environment with other attorneys and support staff.HIRING PROCESS AND TIMELINEThe timeline for this recruitment is outlined below.Job Offer and Background Process begins : Shortly after the interviews.
