REGISTRAR OF VOTERS Temporary Election Worker SpecialistMaps and Vote Centers The Registrar of Voters Office conducts elections for San Diego County. Major elections for President, State Offices, School Boards, Special Districts, and Cities are held in even years. Some special elections are held in odd years.
Primary responsibilities are to recruit and survey vote centers that are needed for the election. Vote centers will be surveyed to ensure it meets the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. In addition, will assist with various duties as needed.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS and Skills/Abilities:
Additional Requirements/Information: While preparing for an election, there is extensive overtime required, often with little or no advanced warning. Vacations and time off during an election cycle is not allowed. This position will begin late February 2025 and end in April 2025.
Regular working hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Please note: Extended hours and weekends will be required to work when needed.
