The Human Services Department's (HSD) Employment and Training Division has requested a department promotional certification to fill a Supervising Employment and Training Specialist. Only qualified permanent and / or probationary HSD employees on the eligible list may be eligible for referral to the department for the advertised positions.The Supervising Employment and Training Specialist (SETS) plans and organizes the day-to-day activities of a unit of Employment and Training Specialists. Additionally, SETS's train and assess staff performance, coordinate unit coverage on an ongoing basis, create staff schedules, and work closely with other supervisors, employees, managers, and program partners to ensure streamlined services are delivered to clients in a timely manner.
