The Washington County Behavioral Health & Developmental Services Department has an opening for the position of Fiscal Technician.
This position is a part of a team of fiscal staff who work closely together, communicate well and are detail oriented. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing a variety of financial documents, communicating with providers to provide technical assistance, maintaining spreadsheets to monitor spending/for preparation of financial reports and compiling data to support state and federal requirements.
The starting annual salary is $37,661.93 with a generous benefits package, including family health insurance, retirement contribution and wellness benefits/activities for both employees and their families. One year as a Fiscal Assistant or three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school OR one year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration OR any equivalent combination of experience and training is required. Computer experience is also necessary.
