The Position
The Yolo County Library is seeking to fill a regular, full-time Library Regional Supervisor position! The selected candidate will be primarily located at the Arthur F. Turner Community Library in West Sacramento; however, the candidate is expected to provide direct service at any branch and be able to work regular evening and weekend hours. The incumbent will report to the Library Regional Manager and oversee the daily operations of branches in the East Yolo Region, including the Arthur F. Turner Community Library, Yolo Branch Library, Knights Landing Branch Library, and Clarksburg Branch Library. Additionally, the Library Regional Supervisor will train, develop, schedule, and evaluate staff; cultivate partnerships with community stakeholders, support the Friends of the Libraries groups, and provide programming, outreach, and collection maintenance.

Employment Standards
Education : Master's Degree in Library Science or Library Information Services or related library field from an accredited graduate school of Librarianship; AND
Experience : Three (3) years of professional library experience. Previous experience with branch operations coordination and / or supervision is preferred.
Special Requirements : This position requires incumbents to work a flexible and changing work schedule including evenings and weekends.
License : Some positions in this classification may require incumbents to possess and maintain a valid California driver's license, Class C or higher, to carry out job related duties. Acceptable forms of educational documentation are official / unofficial transcripts or copy of diploma that list the student's name, institution name, field of study and date the degree was awarded. For recent graduates who have not received proof of their degree, a letter from the registrar's office stating that all requirements for graduation have been met and listing the field of study will be sufficient proof of graduation.
