Security Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the deployment of personnel and resources in response to various situations. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to manage conflicts, and a strong understanding of dispatching protocols. The ideal candidate will be courteous, professional and provide excellent customer service. Be driven by daily goals and hav a hardworking mindset as well as thrive in a team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prioritize incoming calls for service, ensuring timely and efficient dispatching of personnel.
• Monitor and manage the movement of units in the field, providing real-time updates and support.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, including actions taken and outcomes achieved.
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement agencies, security personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Implement conflict management strategies to resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and dispatches for accountability purposes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding safety and security.

Requirements

• Proven experience in dispatching or a related field, preferably within law enforcement or security environments.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Certification in dispatching or related areas is a plus.
• Computer skills are required with the ability to learn new systems, proficient in technology and dealing with equipment and software
• Excellent report writing abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including nights or weekends.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and have a clear background check
• High School diploma or GED

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
