Cafe Operations Manager

Operations Manager, Multi-Unit

Coupa Cafe, a family owned and operated cafe/restaurant with multiple locations is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multiple locations and work directly with the Operations Team. This position is for an individual who has experience in a cafe setting, with barista skills, is a self starter, creative, able to perform a variety of tasks, believes in excellent customer service, understands the need to provide excellent espresso drinks, food and speedy service, is a team player that is able to lead and direct the work of others, energetic, and self motivated with a desire to join a company with goals of continued growth.

Responsibilities:

· Manage and supervise all aspects of operations and service in multiple locations.

. Visit locations on a daily basis to assess the day to day.

. Oversee quality of service to the public and for delivery.

· Create and Post Employee Schedules to ensure that adequate staff levels and budgets are met.

· Oversee Staff Training and coordinate with Head Shift Leaders in all locations.

· Available and on call to address any unexpected problems that may occur.

· Plan and direct activities such as sales promotions and special events; coordinate with other department heads as required.

· Review daily reports to monitor hours and employee time clocks and overtime.

. Review, supervise and enforce rest and meal break requirements.

· Track, review, perform and supervise Maintenance and Facilities requests.

· Respond to customer service inquiries,online reviews, customer complaints/inquiries and address them with store managers.

· Oversee Purchasing

· Provide POS or IT Support daily

· Provide guidance and support to all stores including providing direct management when necessary.

. Enhance productivity, lowering costs and boosting efficiency.

Requirements:

· Must be Bi-Lingual: fluent in Spanish and English

· Experience in the coffee industry and knowledge of  latte art.

· Experience in the restaurant industry.

· Minimum three years previous multi-unit management experience within the Cafe and/or food      industry, or, equivalent related experience and training.

· Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

· Must pass background check and drug test

· Experience with google docs, google sheets, POS.

This is a full time position, weekends required.

Salary: 90K yearly
