Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Program Manager, who will deliver action-oriented data-driven insight solutions for business teams.
This person is obsessed with answering these questions –
1) What should the business team know to take the right action? and
2) What’s next?
This is a hybrid position based in Seattle, US.
Job Responsibilities:
- Stay close to our key business stakeholders, understand their visions about business growth and translate the needs into product roadmaps.
- Drive the planning of product enhancements by carefully analyzing the operation data, user feedback and competitive landscape.
- Other duties as assigned
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
- Manage backlog prioritization and trade-offs among customer feedback, performance, and operational support load
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or Finance.
- 7 years of product/program management experience, with at least 2 years in an ecommerce or retail environment.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and capable of addressing issues with a strong sense of urgency
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to research and benchmark
- Proficiency and experience with Python, Power BI and SQL
- The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience in scaling new tech to help business teams directly impact customers
- Masters degree in Economics or Finance
Pay & Benefits
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation.
The base pay for this position ranges from $138,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $297,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
