Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to lead and inspire our students in tumbling classes of multiple levels and beginning competition cheer classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tumbling coaching, childcare, and physical education, with the ability to educate and motivate young athletes. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Duties
- Develop and implement training programs for students in tumbling levels 1-4.
- Provide guidance and support to students in their athletic pursuits while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Teach fundamental skills and techniques necessary for success in competition cheer.
- Organize practices, drills, and competitions to enhance student performance.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a secure environment during training sessions.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other staff members to support student development both on and off the field.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on coaching techniques and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tumbling coaching or teaching cheer is preferred.
- Knowledge of the various levels of cheer and tumbling.
- Experience working with students or children in a coaching or educational capacity.
- Ability to demonstrate various tumbling and Cheer skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- A commitment to promoting a positive learning environment that encourages personal growth.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Experience:
- Cheerleading: 3 years (Preferred)
- Gymnastics: 3 years (Preferred)
