"Being a camp counselor at Courageous Acres is such a fun, exciting and rewarding job! No two days are the same. Everyday that I get to come to work at Courageous Acres I have the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. I love that [at] Courageous Acres I play a part in creating an inclusive environment and being an advocate for our campers. The memories, smiles and laughs created with our campers are unmatched." –Elena North, camp counselor last year and Camp Director this year
"Being a camp counselor is incredibly rewarding. Giving respite to both campers and their families alike from busy schedules, encouraging and nurturing passions and enthusiasms with both kids and adults is incredibly inspiring to be able to see. You learn a lot about working with people from different backgrounds, as well as things about yourself you didn't know. It teaches you teamwork, time management, responsibility and more, but all within a fun and enjoyable context. I would recommend it in a heartbeat." –Cam Henderson, international counselor from our cultural exchange program
