We seek a Social Media Manager to oversee and elevate our online presence, ensuring that our organizations remain engaged with their audiences through strategic digital marketing efforts.
Job Overview:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing content across Facebook, Instagram, and Google Reviews, as well as handling occasional community marketing and networking efforts. The role will involve collaborating with leadership to ensure that each organization’s digital presence aligns with its mission and goals. Additionally, the manager will serve as a liaison for Courageous Home Care, ensuring relevant updates are communicated effectively via Thryv.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Social Media Management & Strategy
- Develop and execute a content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, and Google Reviews that aligns with each organization's mission.
- Create engaging, high-quality social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written content.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage and optimize Google Business profiles and encourage positive engagement through reviews.
✅ Content Creation & Branding
- Design and edit visuals using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or other design platforms.
- Write compelling captions, blog posts, and marketing copy to drive engagement.
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms while tailoring content to different audiences.
✅ Community Marketing & Networking
- Assist in marketing efforts for community events, outreach programs, and initiatives.
- Engage with local businesses, influencers, and community partners to expand visibility.
- Track and analyze marketing performance and suggest data-driven improvements.
✅ Liaison for Courageous Home Care
- Communicate key updates to Thryv for accurate and timely social media postings.
- Ensure all relevant information and promotions are shared with the Courageous Home Care audience.
Requirements:
✔ Experience & Skills:
- Minimum Experience in Social media management, preferably in community-focused organizations.
- Proficiency in Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, and social media analytics tools. Experience in community outreach, digital marketing, and content creation. Ability to create and edit graphics, videos, and promotional materials. Strong communication and customer engagement skills.✔ Education & Additional Qualifications:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with tools such as Thryv, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with flexible hours.
Work Schedule & Flexibility:
- Flexible schedule – hours can be set by the employee but must be approved by the reporting manager.
- This is a remote-friendly role with occasional in-person networking and marketing events.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.43 - $25.81 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
