What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wealth Management Account Administrator position at Courier Capital?
Purpose: The Account Administrator is responsible for supporting Portfolio Managers with client service, presentations, and reports. This position may also support the Director of Operations with accounts payable, billing, and various other office management duties. Depending on location, may serve as a front-line point of contact for walk-ins and incoming phone calls, which includes clients and vendors, addressing incoming mail, and assembling outgoing client communications.

- Perform personal financial management related service requests for clients including managing the onboarding process for new clients, facilitating money movement and account administration, ACATs, IRA distributions, tax information reporting, gifting, interim reports, income/expenses, and gain/loss information.
- Prepare presentations and proposals, custom reports, appraisals, and portfolio summaries for clients accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain information in client database and respond to client and 3 rd party inquiries
- Committed to act as a fiduciary and to always act in the clients’ best interest.
- Perform or facilitate trade execution and account reconciliation.
- Keep current with SEC/Registered Investment Advisor rules and regulations
- Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.
Required:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior Experience: 2 years in the Investment Services Industry
- Licenses or Accreditation: None
- Relevant knowledge of investment products, documents, and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn and utilize new and existing company software
- Must always maintain confidentiality and fiduciary obligations
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Responds to requests for information in a timely and professional manner
- Able to regularly sit for prolonged periods of time

- Able to lift 25 lbs., on occasion
