Purpose of the Position: Ensures that the area is meeting service expectations while effectively managing costs and employees.
Primary Job Duties: Analyzes current operations to evaluate if the area is meeting service goals and if not, figures out what changes need to be made. Evaluates financials to track profitability and the progress within the budget. Monitors operating units for service issues and works with employees to help them understand standards and processes. Works alongside the sales team to review sales proposals. Manages customer relations to ensure good relationships. Collaborates with other managers to formulate and implement goals for the region and manages performance indicators. Enforces warehouse safety and compliance. Complete necessary reports related to assigned duties.
Secondary Job Duties: Trains employees in the culture of Courier Express and provides the tools necessary for them to succeed in their position. Makes managerial decisions concerning staff, including hiring and firing.

Education/Experience Preferred: College degree or 3 years previous managerial experience
