About the Role
We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join a high-performing finance team at a publicly traded global company. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting and works closely with shared services teams, corporate departments, and global business units.
This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction with the Corporate Controller and Assistant Controllers, offering significant career growth and leadership opportunities.
What Youβll Do
πΉ Lead & Manage β Oversee a team of two Senior Accountants and a shared services team of 10 staff
πΉ Own the Month-End Close β Manage corporate financials for insurance, debt, pensions, fixed assets, payroll, intercompany allocations, and more
πΉ Review & Approve β Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting prepared by accounting teams
πΉ Drive Process Improvements β Continuously enhance efficiencies and leverage shared services models
πΉ Present & Advise β Prepare and present quarterly financial results to the Corporate Controller
πΉ Manage Compliance & Controls β Ensure strong SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness
πΉ Collaborate Across Teams β Work closely with SEC Reporting, FP&A, Tax, IT, Legal, HR, and Operating Companies to drive financial excellence
πΉ Engage in Special Projects β Support key initiatives, M&A activities, and process transformation efforts
What Weβre Looking For
β 7 years of accounting experience (corporate, public accounting, or a mix)
β CPA strongly preferred; solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP & SOX compliance
β Leadership experience β Proven ability to manage teams and cross-functional collaboration
β Problem solver & process improver β Someone who challenges the status quo
β Thrives in a fast-paced environment β Adaptable to changing priorities and ad hoc projects
β Technology-savvy β Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook); Oracle & OneStream a plus
β Shared services experience is highly preferred
