The 16th Judicial Circuit Court is seeking a Director of Case Management to lead our case management team. This pivotal role involves managing and processing cases in the family, juvenile, civil, probate, and mental health divisions. The position is responsible for staff supervision of ten case management and mediation staff members; development and oversight of all programs within the divisions; overseeing equipment and inventory; managing the county and state budgets within each division; evaluating and monitoring casework; developing and administering policy and procedures; performing a variety of administrative functions from providing statistical reports to being a liaison for the judiciary on multiple boards.
This position requires routine travel throughout the circuit to supervise employees in the Plantation Key, Marathon, and Key West courthouses.

Education and Experience Guidelines
Education:
Refers to job-specific training and education required for entry into the position. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis.
Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, social work, law, or a closely related field.
A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
Refers to the amount of work experience that is required for entry into the position that would result in reasonable expectation that the person can perform the tasks required by the position. Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis, excluding supervisory experience.
Five years of related managerial work experience including two years of supervisory experience.
A master’s degree in an area cited above may substitute for two years of the recommended managerial experience.
A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school may substitute for three years of the recommended managerial experience.
Licenses, Certification, and Registration Required:
Refers to professional, state, or federal licenses, certification, or registrations required to enter the position.
Requires a valid State of Florida Driver's License.
