What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pretrial Services Officer - Training provided to qualified applicants position at Court Administration - Monroe County, FL?
This is a mid-level position with the Pretrial Services Program. The individual holding this position is primarily responsible for the assessment and supervision of pretrial defendants, managing the defendant check-in system, scheduling client urinalysis, greeting all visitors to the pretrial services office and directing them to the appropriate staff. This position also includes screening and interviewing defendants for his/her First Appearance hearing and attending First Appearance hearings to report assessment results and recommendations to the Court.
- Temporary Training Schedule: Monday -Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm
- Permanent Schedule once training is complete: Friday - Tuesday (Wednesday and Thursday off) Weekdays 6:30am - 3:00pm and Weekend Days 4:00am - 12:30pm

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
