The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description The United Against Crime Community Action Program (U-CAN) is a mentoring program in which young defendants are paired with a volunteer mentor. The program provides an alternative to incarceration and successful participants may have charges dismissed or dropped to a lower charge. This position will coordinate active U-CAN programs, act as a resource to local courts, and assist with launching and expanding the program to locations throughout the state. Duties include, but are not limited to: recruiting volunteer mentors including performing outreach to community groups to create a pipeline for mentors; training mentors, mentees, and local court personnel; establishing strategic partnerships with local community organizations; serving as a resource to mentors throughout their mentorship, maintaining contact with mentors and mentees, and visiting U-CAN courts; compiling statistics and preparing reports on program success; and researching grant opportunities. Travel is required. Applicants should have experience with implementing, expanding, and coordinating programs. Experience with project management and social work is preferred.Management Analysts are responsible to the Director of the Office of CourtAdministration's (OCA's) Management and Planning Office, or to other court administrators and administrative judges, for supervising a number of on-going projects involving confidential research, analysis, planning, and policy formulation related to court administration and management. Management Analysts also participate in complex projects under the direction of Senior and Principal Management Analysts, work with substantial independence from supervision on individual research projects, and perform other related duties.

Minimum Qualifications One year in the Principal Court Analyst title; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
