Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced F&I Manager to join our team in Ruston, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing financing, offering extended warranties and protection plans, and ensuring a smooth transaction process for our customers. This role requires strong sales skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with lenders to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction and compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with customers to arrange financing and lease options that fit their needs.
- Present and sell extended warranties, service contracts, GAP insurance, and other protection products.
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders to ensure competitive financing options.
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and compliant with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and a transparent sales process.
- Work closely with the sales team to maximize profitability on every deal.
- Stay up to date with finance trends, lender programs, and compliance regulations.
- Maintain proper dealership compliance with all finance and insurance policies.
- Process credit applications, verify customer credit history, and ensure proper deal structure.
- Train and assist the sales team on F&I best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an F&I Manager in an automotive dealership is required.
- Strong understanding of automotive financing, lending, and insurance products.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to auto financing.
- Proficiency with DMS and F&I software (CDK, Dealertrack, RouteOne, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
