Marketing Manager – Job Summary
Come and work for a leading-edge national brand in the service industry! This position is a salaried/exempt position based on a 45-hour work week. Travel is required and working hours may vary. This is a key restaurant support position and requires the ability to work with a variety of Supervisors and Restaurant Managers. This position requires experience in (but not limited to) the following areas: digital and print advertising, organizing promotional and marketing events, managing social media platforms, point of purchase materials, in-store marketing efforts, and developing community contacts.
Marketing Manager Essential Functions and Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business, Graphic Design and/or relevant work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Self-motivated individual who goes the extra mile to accomplish goals.
- Strong people skills and customer service skills.
- The ability to work well in a team environment, share ideas and problem-solve.
- Graphic Design experience is a plus.
Computer Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Meta Business Suite, Facebook and Instagram.
- Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) and Google Analytics experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Weekly in-restaurant involvement to support operations
- 50% restaurant operations
- 50% brand and marketing support
- Assisting restaurants in effectively merchandising their restaurants for current and upcoming promotions including working with national advertising of the McDonald’s Brand.
- Increase brand awareness and visibility through use of current social media platforms.
- Develop social media marketing plans around increasing followers and engagement by setting goals and targets
- Plan, create and post text, images and video content and ad campaigns to Courtesy Corporation social media accounts
- Evaluate and analyze digital marketing plan – identify weaknesses and make recommendations for improving overall social presence
- Understanding and communication of important information to our staff about local, regional and national promotions, local store marketing events, advertising, product inventory, and control and efficiently execute with store managers.
- Monitoring, gauging, and evaluating product sales and promotions.
- Creating and implementing Local Store Marketing Plans to increase sales and drive-thru transactions.
- Establish strong relationships as the McDonald’s key contact person within the communities we serve.
- Positive use of public relations through contact with community organizations, civic groups, school districts and community leaders.
- Respond to requests from the public for donations, sponsorships, and fundraising.
- Assist with the yearly planning of the Marketing Calendar as it relates to different Co-ops within Courtesy Corporation’s market.
- Coordinate and implement media advertising plans throughout the year including, but not limited to: radio, television, print, digital, and outdoor media.
- Play an active role in Ronald McDonald’s House Charities by assisting with fundraisers, public relations events, promotions, and advertising the charity.
- Plan and assist with employee recognition and gratitude efforts.
