Auto Dealership Tag & Title / Billing Clerk

is family-owned and a GREAT place to have a rewarding career! We need to hire a full-time Tag and Title / Billing Clerk to complete motor vehicle registration paperwork, process the accounting of vehicle purchases, and more. Auto Dealership Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities - Tag & Title / Billing Clerk :

  • Complete motor vehicle registration paperwork, process the accounting of vehicle purchases, and more.
  • Prepare tax and title documents on a timely basis
  • Record incoming titles daily according to established procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems specific to titles, odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
  • Reconciles schedules
  • Processes incentives
  • Verify all deal contents and issue payoff checks for trade-ins
  • Post all sale transactions to accounting
  • Verify the accuracy of posting through reporting systems in place
  • Service & parts cashier
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested

    • Qualifications - Tag & Title / Billing Clerk :

  • Prefer Auto Dealership Tag & Title Clerk and / or Billing Clerk experience
  • Research skills and ability to analyze the information required to perform job duties
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Outstanding attention to details, confidentiality, organized
  • A good work ethic and takes initiative
  • Professional appearance and good communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
