Sanitation Technician

Job Description:

We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our reputable team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment to support our patients' and staff's health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of medical facility areas, including patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and common spaces
• Follow strict protocols for sanitation procedures
• Be in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Operate cleaning equipment and use approved cleaning agents safely and effectively
• Restock sanitation supplies as needed
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in sanitation, janitorial, or environmental services preferred, especially in a medical setting
• HIPAA Certification is mandatory
• Ability to provide a background check at your own expense
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Every weekend
• Holidays
• Night shift
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• Commercial cleaning: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Fort Myers, FL: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
