What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foreperson position at Courtland Construction Corporation?
Are you an early riser looking for a new leadership role, join our crew at Courtland Construction. Do you have 3 or more years of experience leading a crew and completing projects, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude? Applicants must be effective communicators with the ability to train others and delegate tasks. Commitment to safety is a must. This can be a full-time, year-round position, 100% Employer paid benefited or seasonal with benefits depending on candidates skills. Winter responsibilities could include emergency “on-call” waterline and water service-related jobs in Chittenden County Vermont, preparing equipment and tools for the on-call work, as well as readying equipment and preparing for larger projects for the summer months. Summer projects are generally within one hour from our shop in Milton and include all underground utility, roadway, and earthwork-type projects.
Responsibilities Include:
Planning and building projects involving earthwork, utility pipelines, and roadways
Short term scheduling
Direct management of crew and equipment
Completing work per plan and specification
Overseeing projects from beginning to end
Project documentation and time sheets.
