Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver comprehensive educational programs on all shifts and for all departments.
- Participate in staff evaluation processes by providing attendance records and observing employee performance.
- Provide facility orientation to new employees and ongoing in-service education.
- Plan and implement a monthly and annual schedule of educational programs.
- Evaluate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) meeting the annual 12-hour in-service requirement.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify areas for improvement and report concerns to supervisors.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in long-term care settings preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
- CPR certification.
