Responsibilities
- Design and deliver educational programs for all shifts and departments.
- Participate in staff evaluations by providing attendance records and performance observations.
- Provide facility orientation and ongoing education to new employees.
- Plan and schedule monthly and annual education programs.
- Evaluate Certified Nursing Assistants' (CNA) and State Tested Nursing Assistants' (STNA) in-service requirements.
- Contribute to quality assurance efforts and report concerns to supervisor.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in long-term care preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
- CPR certification.
