Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Drive a bus along designated routes according to a set schedule
- Ensure the safety of passengers during transit
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus
- Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus interior
- Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns promptly
Requirements
- Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Previous experience driving buses or vans preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to educate passengers on safety protocols and procedures
- Mechanical knowledge for basic bus maintenance
- Experience working with children or in paratransit services is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous
- Excellent English communication skills
